We have completed many of showers for homes in Dallas and
surrounding areas, Most of these homes are 9-15 years old. Usually
around this time is when the "cheap fiberglass" shower pan fails that the builder put in the home originally, or there
may be a leak due to the fact that your home may not have been built with any
Hardi-Backer on the walls, what was commonly used was ( Green Board ). If you only install tile, porcelain, or stone over this
same sub-straight then it will fail again. Most new construction homes here in the
Dallas area also did not install a proper mud bed shower pan in homes built over 8
years ago. Nor did they use any Hardi-backer. ( It was not available.)
We are
well qualified, licensed, educated, experienced in the replacing of showers
correctly in North Texas. As a
small Texas company we have an impeccable reputation. Please do your due diligence before selecting a shower tile
contractor. You can find cheap labor from individual tile installers. However,
there is a cost associated with replacing a shower correctly. As well as insurance liabilities that most
"Independent Tile installers" DO NOT CARRY or can afford.
Most
showers begin at $3,500.00 not including plumbing or glass work. So, be
prepared to spend upwards of $4,500-$6,500 for a typical shower
remodel. We install a mud bed pan with every job. We feel this is the best way to provide a long lasting quality shower that you will enjoy for years to come!
